CHIN Pui Sing is the older of the Chin Brothers. They studied under the tutelage of Mak Sifu since 2006 and were the first child students whom Mak Sifu took on. Prior to that, Mak Sifu had not taken on minors below the age of 12 as students as he had considered them too young to understand the principles of Hung Gar. The Chin Brothers’ talent and dedication has changed Mak Sifu’s perception.
Sing has similarly collected many awards in competitions since his young age of studying with Mak Sifu. Sing was a quiet child but constantly impressed Mak Sifu with his strong focus, dedication to the art, attention to details and respectful attitude. Since 2014, Sing has been an assistant teacher to Mak Sifu, and now teaches with Sifu at the Martial Club in Kwai Fong. He also hosts a regular Monday Community Class on Zoom with his brother, offering Hung Gar basics workout which could be enjoyed by beginners and advanced practitioners.
